Spinning is one of the best exercises to increase cardio vascular fitness with minimal risk of injury and a maximum risk of having fun! It is friendly for the beginner because there are no moves to learn or hills to run up. You are in charge of your bike—your body and your workout. Adjust the tension according to your level. If you're new to class, the instructor will help you to set up your bike to fit your body as well as coach you on what to expect from the class.


Like to spin alone? Just ask to use a bike in our spin room during off class times or get acquainted with our E-Spinner in the Cardio Terrace on the second floor. Take your own private spin class, with headphones on, and spin with your own private virtual instructor!

 


Muscle can’t turn into fat nor fat into muscle. They are two different types of tissue. If you stop working out, your muscles will atrophy (get smaller), but you’ll also burn fewer calories. If you don’t change your eating style, you’ll store those extra calories as fat.
