Look beyond the excuses.

"I'm too old to start an exercise program"
You couldn't be more wrong! You're never too old - in fact, your muscles' response to exercise does not change with age. With a properly designed fitness program all muscles get stronger, more toned, they increase functional efficiency - hearts pump more blood with every beat, oxygen uptake increases, lungs expand - balance, coordination and endurance all increase, and the body's risk for all major diseases decreases.
"I can't exercise because of my (knee, back, sciatica, neck, heart, arthritis etc...)"
There are no excuses aside from major disabilities - being bed ridden, a debilitating disease or death. The only thing that will really prevent you from exercising is a defeatist attitude. There is a program for everyone, and we can help you find it - it will only improve your life and your health concurrent with the constant application of a well-designed program.
"I don't have any time"
The only reason you don't have any time is because you are not setting your health, your goals, your fitness - YOURSELF - as a priority. Everyone is busy - most people have to work and have families as well - there's stress, there's money issues - anyone can come up with a huge list of "things" that devour all of our time. But there are a million ways to design a program to achieve cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance, lower body fat levels and toning to fit anyone's lifestyle - no matter what.
"I don't want my fat to turn into muscle"
It just doesn't happen. Muscle is muscle, fat is fat. They just don't morph into one another. Fat is an abundant source of stored energy that just sits there taking up space until you use it. Muscle is highly functioning tissue enervated by a "Motor Unit" commanded by your brain to move or pick something up, or to stand upright or perform an exercise. Muscle works - fat is a form of energy for your muscles to do that work. When you exercise, you burn energy from fat or glycogen, using your muscles. And your muscles respond to the exercise by becoming faster or stronger, or both.
"I'm going to lose the weight first and then start exercising"
There isn't much less logical than this - in essence this says "I'm going to diet and burn less calories each day so I will be ready to burn more calories each day." Lifestyle, diet and exercise go hand-in-hand. Don't put off improving your health. Regular exercise has the single greatest impact on overall health above anything else you could do.
"I hate to exercise"
If you truly hate any and all forms of exercise, then you haven't been doing it right!
